Virtual Tivoli Sariola
You can still visit Tivoli Sariola in the summer. However, the Tivoli Sariola from 100 years ago can only be accessed virtually!
The story of Tivoli Sariola begins in 1888, when its first iteration was set up in the centre of Kerava, Finland. Its 140-year history is full of literal ups and downs of amusement rides – as well as roaming hippos and other oddities.
Virtual Tivoli Sariola brings history into the present. The VR experience is modelled based on photographs of the shooting range and the carousel from the early 20th century. The demo will be available at a later date.
Virtual Tivoli Sariola has been created in collaboration with the City of Kerava. The experience was first on display in an exhibition by Art and Museum Centre Sinkka.
Sinkka is being renovated and will open in 2026.
